Container Store & Makeup Organization

Recently I was at the Container Store, I wanted to get something to organize my makeup and my necklaces. I don't want to display my necklaces on my vanity. I decided to get a tie hanger, which holds up to 24 ties, so that means that it can hold up to 24 necklaces. I didn't want to place the hanger in my closet where my clothes are, so I placed it on the nob from one of my closet doors. I have a walk in clothes so I am still not displaying the necklaces. I also happened to be a the Home Depot store on day and realized that some of the tool boxes and tool bags could be easily transformed into a makeup bag for artists. They have so many compartments and the makeup could be easily organized. Below is a picture of a possible bag that could be used. The bags range from $19.99 to $40.00. St. Tropez

I am so excited, today there was a sidewalk sale in the local community stores. I got the St. Tropez set. It has the body polish which is step one, the body moisturizer which is step two and the bronzing mousse which is step three. Normally at the St. Tropez site this set goes for about $65.00. At the store that I got it from they normally sell it for $55. Today since it was the sidewalk sale I got it for $20!!!!!! This is one of the most recommended self tanners. I can't wait to try it. Kandee Johnson a makeup artist and guru on youtube recommended it. I will be giving it a try tomorrow, we will see what the results are. I have tried soooo many self tanners. Wish me luck :)

Makeup Look Of The Day

Today I wore the blue jumpsuit and decided to my makeup blue and purple. I used three different blues and one purple from the Coastal Scents Palette. I recommend this palette, its very good quality and the price is a steal, it costs $19.95.

MAC Foundation & Fix Plus

Recently I bought a new foundation from MAC. I was tired of using Neutrogena foundation and Bare Minerals powered. After the whole day my makeup looked worn and I looked tired. I purchased the MAC foundation called Studio Tech, it has full covered and it has a matte finish. You have to use it with the Fix Plus because Studio Tech is very cream and heavy if you used it alone. I wanted to get great covered, look fresh all day and not be able to tell I have any foundation on. Studio Tech does covers all three of my needs. To apply the Studio Tech I use my MAC 107 brush and spray the Fix Plus on the brush. After that I damp the brush in the Studio Tech and buff the foundation into my face. Do a light coverage don't keep damping the brush into the Studio Tech unless you notice that there is no more product coming off the brush. Do not look at the brush to determine if there is any product left, look on your face. Make sure the spot you were placing the product on has foundation there, if it does not then damp your brush into the Studio Tech. To set your foundation use the Blot Powered. Simply take an all over face brush sweep the brush over the Blot Powered and then go all over your face. The Blot Powered has silicone in it so it will absorb the oil off the face and keep the makeup looking fresh. After completely finishing your makeup, to set it use spray the Fix Plus on your face. Hold it as far away from your face as you can. You don't want to drench your face in the spray.

What's In My Bag

Recently I did a What's in my purse video on youtube. For those who don't know what that is, you simply show what you carry in your bag daily. I carry my phone, a book or the ipad, makeup bag, wallet, set of brushes, lipstick, lipgloss, and much more. Just check out the pictures below. The bag that I use is the Louis Vuitton Speedy 40. It is 100% authentic. The lepoarde print bag is the makeup bag, and all the items with the red background are all in that makeup bag.

Nordstrom Rack Haul

A few days ago I went to Nordstrom Rack and purchased a few items.My video on youtube is up, however the glasses, nail polish, and ceramic straightener is not on the video because after trying on the jumpsuit at home, it turned out to be too big. The next day I went to exchange the jumpsuit for a smaller size and bought the nail polish, glasses, and the straightener. Below you will find sites and the brands of the items. I do have to make a comment on the Leif Makeup set, I don't think the quality is that good. You can tell by the swatches. :( They are all matte also.

First Post

Hello everyone, this is my first post on the blog. I am a you tuber that does hauls and reviews on products. Normally that type of person would be called a guru. But since I have just started I will not be identifying myself as that. I am not a professional in any way. I have posted a video today, its a review on the icing makeup. Icing is a company similar to Claire's however, Icing has items that are designed for more mature women. Claire's gives me the impression that it is more for young girls. I purchased an eyelash curler, a Safari eyeshadow kit collection, a bronzer, and a brush set. The brush set, eyeshadow collection and curler were purchased so I can have them in my bag, incase I need a touch up or end up sleeping over at a friends house. The quality of the items is very good in my opinion and do recommend them to you. Icing had a buy one and get a second item for 50% off deal. If you have any question please feel free to comment.
